![]() Only thing that you will miss are some references to previous game, like characters or items. 1 Marcus Kane 2:24pm You are totally fine with a blind start here. For a video explanation of these steps, check out the video below from Nebulaterous on YouTube. < 1 2 > Showing 1 - 15 of 16 comments Dr.Fumetastic 2:23pm You don't have to.When the campaign loads, it should automatically be in split-screen mode. Using your primary controller, select Story and then Single Player to begin a new campaign. Especially because Original Sin 2 is years after Divinity 2. A lot of players even say that Constitution in DOS 2 is basically useless, particularly on Lone Wolf, because once youre out of armour, you basically get stunlocked to oblivion and once youre stunlocked you might as well be dead. Divinity 2 is a completely different game from Original Sin 2, so dont say Divinity 2. In DOS 2, you have 2 steps to every fight: Destroy the armour, then spam status effects. Its in the same Universe but 2 completely different storys. There is nothing left from the first games story except as you yourself said some 'loose' ends. The second player will be listed as a plus-one under the first player’s name. Divinity 2 plays 'centurys' after Divinity 1. If you followed these steps correctly, then you should see both player profiles listed in the upper left corner of the display beneath “Profile”. Press Options or Start on the controller to bring up the profile menu, and select the new player profile that you just created. Once you’ve set up a second player profile, use your secondary controller to select the new profile. From here, you will need to create another profile for your split-screen partner to play on. Using your primary controller, press triangle or Y to bring up the player profile menu, then select Create. Now that you have your controllers ready, fire up Divinity: Original Sin 2 on Steam. ![]() The combat is fantastic but if you play DOS 2. The story is pretty much nonsense in DOS 1 and there arent very many memorable characters. Using the keyboard and mouse won’t work for split-screen, which means both players will need to have a controller. Id suggest you play DOS 2 first, and if you really like it go back to DOS 1 some day with the knowledge that the combat is similar but the writing is significantly worse. In order to play Divinity: Original Sin 2 locally, you will need to have two controllers plugged in or synced with your PC. Not really, since the story of Divinity Original sin is separate from the second, they dont have that much in common. This guide will briefly explain how to set up local split-screen co-op on Divinity: Original Sin 2 for those looking to party up with a friend for a new campaign on a single PC. However, the game's process for setting up local co-op isn't the most intuitive, so you might need some guidance before you can adventure with a friend on the same PC. One of the best parts about Divinity: Original Sin 2 is being able to play with your friends though local split-screen co-op. ![]()
